B'One Deep

B'one lives in a world without cell phones, tablets, or laptops. Instead, this technology is implanted in individuals as they grow up, except for Gen-Mods. Gen-Mods are born with, as B'one says, "every app a girl could wish for." In B'one's world, the Company manages and controls every aspect of life; people are kept calm and happy by the Feed, delivered directly into their minds.

When a personal tragedy causes B'one to run away, she discovers a community of people living beyond the reach of the Company and the Feed. Here, people have had their devices removed and live a free life filled with rituals. B'one is drawn into their community and begins to understand that the life she knows is not what she thought it was. As she awakens from the numbing effects of the Feed, B'one uncovers the truth and undertakes an act of heroism that will change everything, including herself.
