After years of being an adventure playground for local teenagers and a base for eccentric folk musicians, an abandoned quarry claims a young life and attracts public attention.

The village is divided between campaigners who want the site cleaned up and Jimmy and the folk club die-hards, who don’t. Jimmy’s attempts to find a compromise seem to make matters worse. Who will win the battle of the hills?
