Kelley Hall, along with his wife and son, join a wagon train that is crossing the country into the West's wide-open spaces. Once a wanted outlaw who turned his life around, Kelley hopes to leave his troubled past behind him. As with many wagon train dreams, the heat of the desert, renegade Indians, and local outlaws change the search for a new beginning into a struggle to survive. Patience, irony, and a fast gun are all Kelley has to back him up when having to face a relentless ghost from the past.
