Blinded by Color

Kayla Gray is a shy young girl in her early twenties living in Florida with her mother. Her father was murdered years earlier but the perpetrator was never found. Her mother can't handle the death of her beloved husband and finds solace in alcohol. As the town drunk her only safety net is that her big brother is the town sheriff. Kayla is determined to find the killer of her father but her investigation into this mystery will soon turn dark.

She will learn things about her family that will change her forever. The once timid proud white all American girl will soon learn that her father held secrets that in turn caused his demise. These secrets will break hearts and tear apart this once-loving family. In a whirlwind of racism and hate, Kayla will soon see that she has no right to judge others because she too has a dark past that is now coming to light.
