After the Rapture, Hannah and a select group of mortals are chosen to return to the Garden. But things aren't as wonderful as they were led to believe... Even if one of them happens to be frustratingly handsome).Meanwhile, her former crush Josephine has problems of her own. She and her friend Sarai were once inseparable, but lately the friendship has taken a series of blows-- Sarai's reaction when she finds out Jo is trans; Jo choosing to take a mysterious stranger into her home and then her heart. The Devil has truly come to the town of Devil's Ridge, and Sarai and Jo are doomed to fight on opposing sides of the apocalypse.
