Black Sea mud volcanoes as a search criterion for gas hydrates

The monograph describes manifestations of gas volcanism - the largest mud volcanoes and gas flares - of the Azov-Black Sea basin and surrounding regions. The book is based on a huge factual material obtained during several decades of marine expeditions on research vessels of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and other agencies. The findings and conclusions of the authors are of great scientific importance and will be widely used in geological and environmental practice.
