Birth and Beginnings: The Arrival

The day of her birth brought the death of her mother. Born into the world alone, and surrounded by fearful, ignorant creatures, Athena must assert her will to survive. The world was cruel to her mother and offered no safe harbor to the only person she'd ever loved. Born with a terrifying intellect, the power to bend reality to her will, and an absolute disregard for human life she destroys all who would come against her. Until Jones. Jones hurt her, and she'd never allow any to do that again. She'd escaped him once, and yet, he peruses her, intent on ending her life. Athena knew this the moment he dropped her onto the cement mere hours after her birth. His time will come, someday every living creature will bend to her will, recognizing her true nature. They will know in that day a Goddess was born, and her name is ATHENA.
