Bhutan has captured the imagination of travellers for centuries; today it is one of the most sought-after destinations for discerning guests. With an incomparable historic and cultural background, the country has so much to offer the curious visitor. Fabulous dzongs and monasteries dominate the terrain and settlements, the people are welcoming, the markets colourful, the nature pristine, peaceful and delightful.
