Beyond Darkness

Sean Curley has accepted that his newfound powers cannot be denied. With that new confidence, he makes the decision to pursue the woman he loves, Breena of the Tuatha De Danann, to her homeland in order to free her from apparent captivity. His companions, however, have decisions to make. With Sullivan Nichols injured from their last violent encounter, he and others will seek healing on an island reputed to have great power.

The Grumbles, the core group of friends from New York, must part ways. As some pursue healing and others pursue their foes. Both paths lead them to the state of Maine, where Sean will seek to find his was through the Otherworld to the realm of The Peripherals, the beings who exist on the edges of human perception.

Nothing is as it seems, which is business as usual for Sean and his friends lately. New friends and new enemies emerge as their journey continues, and more than once all seems lost. It will require selflessness and sacrifice to accomplish what must be done, and the world of the Peripherals proves to hide many surprises for the companions.

Healing in one direction, and violence in the other. The friends, both human and Peripheral, will be tested as never before.
