Little Person, Evangeline (Eve) Solly of stunning wit, and a slow witted Pantagruel, Derek Bratter, have a radio talk show (Shut Up!) and an on the edge romance and off beat life in the Borough Park, New Utrecht Avenue section of Brooklyn; GPS The New Pompey Bar & Restaurant. The time is the present. Will the disinherited Derek find out who shivved his twin brother, Theo, in Rikers? Will he stay alive long enough to be reinstated as the heir to the family fortune? Can Eve Solly leverage the Brighton Beach Russian mob against the family foundation's laundering operation and its villainous lobbyists? Can a voluble arsonist burn down just the deranged parts of everything?The genre is dark comedy, one whose narrative forms sample murder mystery, the mysteries of laundering operations, including Russian interference, a disowned Fortunate Son, Derek, and his confrontation with forces pulling him reluctantly into a claim to his family's estate, and a last section retreat to Fishkill Office of Mental Health inmates, ironically the last refuge from a deranged society.
