Bemused

As she turns fifty, Angela decides to take stock of her life. Things haven't turned out as she'd hoped they would and on a whim, she travels to Central America for a holiday 'off the beaten track'. There she meets Marcus, a man quite different from anyone she has met before. Falling in love with a vampire almost two thousand years old was always going to be complicated, but just as she thinks she's managed to balance being a mother and being in love, his past catches up with them with devastating consequences for her family and friends.
