It's a delight to read these many stories, most of which I have witnessed.

Chris had been a tower of strength for us as staff in the establishment with which we worked, and in meetings, he would always caution us as managers about telling the truth at all times. His words would ring out every so often, "Accountability is key; never bring a lie to me regarding a guest's concern to cover your butts." I have never met a manager with such patience.

Chris is a natural teacher and a fearless manager. He has always been one who never feared criticism, and he was decisive. He believed in his guests both internal and external. These stories can never be penned by anyone else but Chris. He is a disciplinarian and a stickler for ensuring guests' experiences are memorable. I have witnessed guests in bitter anger spew expletives at him due to some form of anomaly in which Chris held on to his composure; at the end of the dialogue, he brings total calm to the situation. I have often referred to him as one who was born for hospitality.

With the warmth, hearty laugh and infectious smile I knew I had to know Chris better. It is not common for me to find people who truly get customer experience, Chris does!! Customer service/ experience is not common sense and I know Chris embodies this with his team, getting his team game-ready for that experience to their clients (and each other).
