How does a deserted, smelly, frightened little dog become a TV superstar? Before he can step into that role, he must come out of hiding and learn to trust people again. When Jim Spencer finds him and takes him home, the little dog realizes he can help others by training as a therapy dog. Renamed Kaxan, he works hard with Edward Flores to gain the required skills. Once he earns his Divine Canines therapy certificate, he also becomes the KXAN official mascot and spokesdog and inspires many others to make a difference in the community.
