Beskrivelse
Bear in the Basement is a story of a young cub who finds himself alone in a dark place that is filled with mystery, adventure and wonder. After losing his mother, the cub finds refuge in a basement of a large house. The cub soon is discovered by a girl that befriends him. The child realizes she can't keep the cub. If her parents find out that he is living in the basement they might put him in a zoo. To avoid being seen as being a 'live cub' the young lady teaches the cub to act like a 'teddy bear' whenever grownups are around. The task becomes more difficult as the cub grows. Follow the cub's adventures as he finds ways of living in and around the home undetected by adults. This is a child friendly book.
