When a pawnbroker calls detective Quinton Paige to tail a blackmailer, the down-on-his-luck PI anticipates a simple solution to his looming financial woes. Instead, Quint finds himself at the center of a convoluted case, rife with deception, revenge, and murder that reaches back to the trenches of WWI.
