Basic Discipleship - Training Manual

Once upon a time . . . there was a Fabulous, Incredible, Magnificent, Loving, Unequaled, Creator God . . . who immensely desired to have Himself His own Family.He created a huge, spacious, Universal playground for His soon expected children . . . filled it with beautiful starry toys and anomalies for them to enjoy and creatively experiment with . . . and brought forth other Moral-Life creatures for them to interact with and subsequently have fellowship together.

When the time was just right . . . this Single Parent created a "Mini-Me," Express Image, Human-Xerox, Carbon Copy, son, and daughter . . . and gave them the privilege of helping Him build His desired Family to exponential proportions, through granted reproduction.

Of course, He wanted them to love Him fervently. . . but He preferred to have that love be their chosen desire . . . so He gave them a Free Will, rather than have them behave and function robotically.

Some of the friends that He had created for His children to interact and play with . . . rebelled at their assignments. They chose to go their own way, and do their own thing . . . so a very real schism developed within the playground.

Right at the outset of the Personal, Divine, Family development . . . these bratty friends persuaded the new Divine children to join them in their rebellion . . . and the children left their Heavenly Father and ran away from home.

Throughout all of these activities, the Loving, Heavenly Father God kept a journal. He recorded, precisely, just what had happened . . . and expressed His deep sorrow for the outcome of what had taken place.

However, He was not content to simply allow His rebellious children to run amok forever . . . so He prepared a genius of a plan to restore the unity of His Family once again. It's all recorded within the journal . . . and the invitation to return home has been extended today to every "Mini-Me," Express Image, Human-Xerox, Carbon-Copy, individual on planet Earth . . . regardless of race, color, or creed.

We have all originally come from a "broken home" and the debilitating effects which that breach causes . . . but our Loving, Heavenly Father God wants us to repent of our rebellion, and return unto Him . . . as all prodigals should.

He has graciously extended forgiveness to whosoever responds to the clarion calling . . . and yearns for Family unification once again. Won't you make that decision to come back home with rejoicing in your heart?
