A devoted single mom, used to doing everything on her own, Maggie Bowman is trying to do All. The. Things. Somehow, the more she does, the more she feels like she's failing. With the clock ticking down to the start of the school year, Maggie's first priority is staying on top of renovations on her fixer-upper in order to provide a stable home for her daughter.

Finally satisfied with his life just as it is, local restaurant owner, Sean York, is completely caught off guard by the sweet woman who walks into his bar for the first time. Fidgeting in her barstool and pulling at the deep neckline of her dress to cover herself, she looks like she'd rather be anywhere else while she waits for her friends.

The connection is brief, but it's there. Sean can't help but be drawn to Maggie's gentle vulnerability. And Maggie can't help but be drawn to Sean's easygoing nature - not to mention the way he looks in those jeans.

When Sean and Maggie meet up again, they each begin to wonder, "What if...?"
