Bariatric imaging synopsis

Morbid obesity has increased rapidly in recent years. This poses new challenges for all medical disciplines. At the same time, the number of surgical bariatric interventions is also increasing. This also places new demands on radiology. Due to the special postoperative anatomy and various long-term changes that only occur in this patient population, bariatric imaging is also increasingly in demand. Currently, however, there are hardly any textbooks or reference books that cover this patient population. For this reason, we have decided to fill this gap. This book is intended to be a valuable guide for radiological diagnostics in bariatric patients.
