Balderdash Buccaneers

The year was unimportant, the world was unfathomable, the motivation was unemployment. From these meager beginnings, a group of friends decided to reinvent piracy. They enlist the help of a few other unfortunate souls, steal an old pirate ship and convert it to an airship. They name it "The Collywobbles."

In an attempt to procure a larger crew, they devise a plan to raid a prison barge. The raid is successful with one tiny flaw... it's a female prison. Still, a crew is a crew and they take on enough new members to man the pirate airship.

As they build the airship, they train to be pirates and they slowly come to the realization that you don't have to be blood related to be a family... oh, and everyone loves spiced nog.

Once the ship is in the air, the training must continue. They have to learn to fly a ship they built and learn to use cannon and harpoon guns. The first and only casualty was the local church steeple.

From surviving a massive storm to boarding a ship manned by monks selling cheese and chocolate. The exploits and adventures abound. The captain and crew begin to realize that perhaps they truly aren't to be pirates. The captain begins to have dreams and visions of the pirate captain who was once cursed to be bonded to the ship forever.

Captain Velan is taken to a dream real where he captures the genie who cursed the pirate captain, "The Ogre". The old pirate captain tells Velan where to find his massive treasure and leaves the ship for the hereafter.

Captain Velan and the crew set out to find the lost city and the treasure. They learn that sometimes truth can be fiction and an enemy can be saved. Family is everything, even if everyone is different... especially if everyone is different.
