Aretha's Food for The Mind

Life is not a competition but involves many tests. The only time we should compete is with 

the person we were yesterday to become better today. Do what you can with what you 

have. You do not have to follow anyone else's path because yours is already set. Do that 

thing you have been longing to do. Don't wait for a near death experience to occur before 

you start. After being diagnosed with an illness that nearly cost her life, God gave Aretha 

the Encourager the blueprint to begin and maintain a consistent healthy lifestyle 

approximately two years ago. God saved her; therefore, she owes Him all glory, honor, and 

praise. Aretha now focuses on bettering her mind, body, and spirit daily. 

The purpose of this book is to let each of you know there is still hope no matter where you 

may find yourself. Get up and get moving towards the life God created and mapped out 

for you. This book will encourage and inspire you to pray deeper and eat healthier. The
