Are We Having Fun Yet? An Amateur's Guide to Cycling in Italy

This account of a six-week bike-packing journey from Lecce in Italy's deep South to Lake Como in Italy's far North provides a how-to, and sometimes how-not-to guide to cycling Italy. Janine and her husband (very amateur cyclists) decided to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary, and forty years of being alive with and adventure. An adventure that was life affirming, challenging and fun, all whilst not looking too much like a mid-life crisis to their family and friends.

"Are We Having Fun Yet? An Amateur's Guide to Cycling through Italy" is both a cycling memoir and a travel guide. The places they passed through were often off the beaten track and away from the tourists. Janine talks about the great and not so great experiences they had; the food, the people, the country!
