English summary: This second volume documents the structure and architecture of the residential area in the southeastern part of the ancient city of Kharab Sayyar. The excavation findings presented in this volume comprise a total of eight buildings, among which is a small mosque, and the results offer unique insights into a residential quarter of an Abbasid provincial city, particularly one which lacked prior planning or development.
