Approaching Dawn

Approaching Dawn is the story of a prophecy fulfilled and of teachings passed through generations of Anishinabe. It is the story of one woman's journey through the trauma of residential school, the reality of racism, the degradation of addictions and the triumph of purpose. It is the lived story of Nancy-survivor, fighter and Elder. Her message is one of hope for her people and healing for Mother Earth. Approaching Dawn provides literary entry into the Canadian aboriginal experience and shares the wisdom of her people.
