Apostasy Can Lead a Nation to Self-Destruct

This is the story of two nations, ancient Israel and the Untied States of America. From the beginning both nations were dedicated and consecrated to God. God blessed them with wealth, power and peace. Unfortunately both gradually relaxed their commitment to God over time. Ancient Israel began worshiping foreign gods, and America began worshiping the more sophisticated gods of fame, achievement, money. power and others. Then, both began expunging God from their nation and society. After a time, America's Supreme Court authorized the murder of unborn babies as sacrifices to the god of women's rights.

God warned both ancient Israel and America to turn from their evil ways. These warnings were recorded in the Bible, but unfortunately, the Supreme Court suppressed the Bible's use in America. The leaders of both nations failed to recognize the terrorist attack in New York City and Washington D.C. as a result of spiritual crises. Ancient Israel disappeared from biblical history. While on the other hand, America continues to move forward to its doom.
