THE BODY OF PRESIDENTIAL candidate "Skipper" Goodman turns up in the snowy mountains of Utah, near the small town of Truman, nine months after his private jet vanishes en route to D.C. Despite orders to the contrary, Truman's local coroner cannot resist the temptation to probe the most famous guest to ever cross his table. Within an hour of the body's discovery, Colonel James Merkett and a strike team are racing toward Truman in an effort to contain the "Goodman problem" before it can spread any further.
