Beskrivelse
Set in the early Seventies in Denver, Colorado, just as the Supreme Court prepares to rule on the Keyes Case in which a group of parents sued the Denver school district for intentionally manipulating boundaries to segregate students, America's Soul tells of one school's experiences in preparing for dramatic changes in the support for public education. Specifically, it is the story of two young teachers and their students trying to grow in this environment and of a principal striving to maintain the high standards of his school. America's Soul weaves the triumphs and tragedies of the daily schedule into larger lessons. It is the story of courage and determination in the face of uncertainty during an uncertain journey.
