Almost Forgotten Women

Although women held little status in the first-century Greco-Roman and Jewish world, often treated as property with no legal or social rights, Jesus boldly defied cultural norms. He spoke to women with compassion, taught them openly, welcomed them as disciples, and affirmed their worth as individuals created in God's image. He never condemned them for their failures, nor did He condone mistreatment by others. In a society where women were expected to remain in the background, Jesus invited them to sit among the men and listen to His teachings. His ministry deeply impacted many women-some were healed, some were friends, some were followers, and others whose names were never recorded. This book explores eight often overlooked and almost forgotten women whose lives were transformed by Jesus and whose legacies still echo in the Christian faith and way of life today.
