Det her er virkelig en af mine yndlingsbøger! Jeg bestilte den endda på dansk til min mormor, da jeg var færdig med den, og hun elskede den lige så meget som jeg selv gjorde. Det er en barsk og smuk fortælling, og den kan klart anbefales.

En utrolig historie, men lidt tung synes jeg. Den var hård at komme igennem, men havde også sine øjeblikke, hvor den var umulig at lægge fra sig!

Fantastisk bog! Jeg er 15 år og blev fuldstændig optaget a bogen i de fem dage, det tog mig at læse den. Bogen er (efter mig mening) for alle aldre da både jeg, min mor, min farmor og nogle af mine yngre veninder har læst den og alle nydt den! Jeg kan kun stærkt anbefale den!

En utrolig fantastisk bog, uden lige! Jeg har virkelig nydt den måde Anthoy Doerr skriver på, han er fantastisk god til det med ord og jeg glæder mig til at se hvad hans næste roman kommer til at handle om. Man bliver hurtigt fanget af historien og jeg kunne rigtig godt lide de parallelle fortællinger, der til sidst blev vævet sammen så man kunne så "the big picture". Alt i alt, et sikkert must read, og nok en af de bedste romaner jeg har læst i år!
