This guide contains a clearly structured, comprehensive, and self-contained therapy unit for the treatment of alcohol addicted patients. It is designed and evaluated for our- and in-patient group therapies and provides as well useful suggestions for single therapies of alcohol-addicted patients. A new approach is the implementation of recent neurobiological results and consequences for psychotherapeutic treatment. The descriptions of therapy modules and work material on CD-ROM provide a swift and practically oriented integration of the concept in everyday therapy.
