Beskrivelse
According to Wikipedia: 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (commonly shortened to Alice in Wonderland) is an 1865 novel written by English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll. It tells of a girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole into a fantasy world (Wonderland) populated by peculiar, anthropomorphic creatures. The tale plays with logic, giving the story lasting popularity with adults as well as children. It is considered to be one of the best examples of the literary nonsense genre, and its narrative course and structure have been enormously influential, especially in the fantasy genre.' Through the Looking-Glass (1871) is the sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland .'

Alice in Wonderland is and will always be a wonderful read. I am glad that I have the books in the original English as some things always will go lost in translations. And Lewis Carol’s charming writing is something I would be quite sad to see lost. Because Lewis Carol manages to bring such a charm to his words there makes you want to read the books with a cup of tea while sitting in front of the fireplace. The wonderful writing style aside the story and world is quite wonderful too. It’s hard to describe just why, it’s much easier to describe how exactly it makes you feel – at least for me. For me Alice in Wonderful leaves a smile throughout the entire read, which surely will be enjoyable, it somehow makes you feel warm and cozy inside. It leaves a hint of color in your day, grey as it might seem. It makes you chuckle in delight at the witty and impossible conversations there follow a logic we do not share. It’s crazy, makes absolutely no sense and breaks so many rules. But that’s okay; those rules weren’t needed in this book, in this world. All it needs is a little dash of madness and this book got madness sprinkled all over it, I would recommend you to read it if you have only watched movies, played games or heard of it. I can’t ensure that it will be an enjoyable read for you but I feel safe to say that, it will be worth a try.
