When Dusty Rhodes, a promising young horse trainer, is asked to take up a job at Mowbray Park, the biggest racing stable in the district of Warrianderra, he can hardly believe his luck.

But after an unexpected win, Dusty begins to question the intentions of Donovan Malek, the stable's owner. As he wrestles with his suspicions, Dusty uncovers a terrible secret that could jeopardise the horse racing industry. Soon he is playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse with Malek and the police.

Torn between the need to protect his family and his role in the investigation, will Dusty risk everything to expose the truth about Mowbray Park? Or will he succumb to Malek's threats and remain silent?
