Against All Odds

Against All Odds is about a young girl who did what she had to do to survive. Her experiences from childhood and adulthood are a testament that the negativity that was spoken to her and about her holds no weight. Being called nappy headed, dumb, ugly, and "black as tar" all throughout school did the opposite of what "they" hoped; instead it fueled her fire to prove that she is who God says she is, not the labels others tried to give her. Today, she has received many degrees, accolades, awards, and what she is the proudest of is how she is honored for her willingness to serve in the community. Against All Odds will give you hope that you can do it as well.
