After The Ball

Emily Ibbotson is frantic when Callum Farquhar, her partner for the weekend, vanishes from the B&S ball. In desperation and as a last resource after searching everywhere, she calls in her friend and Private Investigator, Sonoma (Sonny) Whittington to help. Why Callum was so keen to spend the weekend at a festival in a remote rural Central Queensland town is a mystery to all concerned. After a few days of finding nothing to indicate how or why he vanished, or where he is now, Sonny develops dark thoughts about the whole affair. Is it possible something has happened to him, or did Callum engineer his 'disappearance' as a way of escaping a disappointing weekend? Finding the answer to that question makes for an interesting few days for Sonny.
