Absorption Vegas

Kehli Joyce (KJ) is a driven Los Angeles homicide detective; who was ordered by her hardnosed lieutenant to take leave after her partner was ambushed and murdered. Not wanting to lose her job for disobeying an order or be brought up on charges of insubordination, she reluctantly does what she is told and goes to Las Vegas; for some needed rest and relaxation. During her forced vacation she meets and has a steamy affair; with a local well known author Gino Bartolinni. Just as she was contemplating moving to Vegas to be with him, a serial killer emerges in Sin City and takes Detective KJ on the journey of her life. A journey she never expected to take; a journey that will change her life forever.
