Beskrivelse
Abused by his parents for a good portion of his earlier years, Nick is living in Detroit as a homeless drug addict. After almost killing himself one September night, he is found by Ivy. She herself has been alone, living in a townhouse, since she was abandoned at the age of twelve. Ivy's curiosity about Nick turns into a willingness to help him, and she allows him to stay with her. She quickly finds, as they grow closer, that the reality of addiction is anything but how she originally perceived it. Unbeknownst to her, however, as he begins to lose his grip again, the two fall victim to more danger than either could have anticipated. Ivy is forced to face the fact that sometimes, just one person isn't enough to save another if they're already too far gone.
