A Tutorial Introduction to Complex Numbers with MATLAB Applications

Complex numbers is an important subject of mathematics. Complex numbers are very widely used in many engineering fields. Especially in electrical engineering, complex numbers have a wide range of applications. In circuit analysis, signal processing, signals and systems, electromagnetics, analog and digital communication, and control engineering courses complex numbers are used a lot. In this book we explain fundamental concept of complex numbers. Different from the traditional books written on the complex numbers, we included the MATLAB applications of the complex numbers in the book. MATLAB applications make the student aware of some points which may not be noticed by solving problems only with pencil and paper.
