A to Z of God's Character

Over the years I have questioned many aspects of God's character without even realizing it - maybe I'm not alone. My fears show a lack of trust in His sovereignty and provision. My continual planning shows a lack of belief in His omniscience He is all knowing. When I question why I was placed in a certain situation I am doubting His perfect plan for my life. When anger rises up in me while watching the heart-wrenching pain of suffering I am putting His lovingkindness into question. When I hold on to the sin of my past unable to forgive myself I am rejecting His atoning sacrifice, cleansing power and forgiveness. All of the fears, doubts, questions, and emotions that rise up within me on a daily basis all count down to one common denominator... They all show a lack of belief in the character of God. I believe every Bible study should result in us knowing our Father and His Son Jesus more. He reveals His character to us throughout Scripture. The A to Z of God's Character is a journey through the ways the Lord reveals His nature to us in His Word. Together we will learn how we are created to be like Him and reflect His character to the world around us. By focusing on the true character of God, we will grow closer to Him as we allow truth to wash away our lack of belief.
