A Theology

As believers we are shaped by our worldview and our Godview, that is, our perception of God, perhaps to a higher degree than we acknowledge.

Neither is any of them solely dependent upon theology in the strictest sense, but they are equally informed by the biblical narrative, God's grand story in which we are immerged.

This book highlights central aspects of God's being and our calling and destiny within God's larger framework, in this emphasizing a passionate God, with real relations within himself, who is temporally related to creation, and who invites us to cowork with him in his grand mission.

The author in all of this takes an unapologetic Arminian position in contrast to medieval scholastics and high Calvinism.
