A station named Liligumma

A station named Liligumma and other Rail stories contains one novella and eleven short stories based on the backdrop of Railways.Liligumma is a small but beautiful hill station on the Koraput Rayagada Railway line.During the construction of this Railway line an engineer names Srikant meets a girl from Liligumma and a romance ensues.On the request of the girl, the station is built near her village but the engineer loses his job soon after.The novella is a poignant tale of unrequited love. The writer, who is a retired Railway officer, has woven eleven more stories based on his experiences.
