A Proverb a Day

Proverbs is a collection of wise sayings and nuggets of insight. The words are ancient, the culture from which they were derived is nigh-extinct, and the language is foreign to almost all of us. Yet, the truths found therein are as timeless and helpful as ever. This devotional book only touches on a third of what the inspired text has to offer, but what it does contain are enough devotional thoughts to last an entire year. Proverbs is filled with relevant warnings, helpful reminders, and countless words of encouragement. The words of this book are not meant to replace your Bible, but instead to serve as a tool to aid in your study of God's Word. As you read through this book, one page per day, every morning or every night, you will hear timeless truths of God and the wisdom of Solomon. I can't think of a better way to spend a year.
