Beskrivelse
When the evidence outweighs what is alleged to be the truth, Huck Price and his partner Cedric Smart are asked to bring closure for the defendant's family by determining what is the truth. The defendant, Carl Rouse, a former Marine sniper, currently being held in a German jail, is charged with the assassination of a German state representative. Huck's skills from his former days as a Special Forces officer and Cedric's worldly talents as a retired CIA operative, are put to the test as they weave their way through a maze of obstacles consisting of language barriers, a skilled assassination network and a complex legal systems. While their primary focus is in Frankfurt, Germany, the truth may lie somewhere between Berlin, Istanbul, Turkey. While finding elements of the truth will not establish the innocence of Rouse, Huck and Cedric soon discover a speedy trial appears to be in the interest of all parties inside and outside the legal system. Those outside the legal system will go to any effort or expense to ensure Rouse spends the remainder of his life in a German prison. That effort includes the elimination of innocence bystanders and those who may be obstructing the progress to bringing the case of the assassination to a close. The end may not be what Huck and Cedric promised their wives before taking on what could be their final case.
