A Planetary Fairytale -Friendship

This is the second book by Simonne Joy Murphy in a series of story books for children that tell about the Sun, Moon and planets in our solar system within a charming little story, with full page color illustrations on each page. The first book was about acceptance. This new one is about friendship. The planets in our solar system, including the two new ones, Eris and Ceres, that were added in 2006, are conversing with each other as they orbit around the Sun. In their conversation, the basic characteristics of each planet, as known in astrology, are brought out in ways that are appropriate for children ages 5 to 9 years old. The Sun, Moon and planets are deciding whether all will accept Eris and Ceres into their group. As the title of the book suggests, the story has a happy ending, with the full acceptance of the two new planets.
