History Of The Life Of Richard

The rise and fall of the feudal system comprises one of the most important periods of human history. During this time, magnificent upheavals occurred: an organised system of oppression gave way to rational liberty, bloody wars resulted in the refinement of society, and wanton aggression produced limitations of power. No life would seem more illustrative of the peculiarities of these times than that of King Richard I.
