A History of Photography at the University of Notre Dame

The Snite Museum of Art at the University of Notre Dame is considered to be one of the finest university art museums in America. Its permanent collection of nineteenth-, twentieth-, and twenty-first-century photography comprises 10,000-plus pieces. This first volume in a two volume catalogue of the collection presents 100 key works from the 20th-century, including works by Jacque-Henri Lartigue, Edward Weston, Alexander Rodchenko, August Sander, Berenice Abbot, Robert Capa, Irving Penn, Larry Clark and Hiroshi Sugimoto, among many others.
