A Half Life

Ana is a half breed elf taken captive at the age of sixteen by Lord Raynald, a cruel elf but she has no idea why. Before her twenty first birthday she escapes with Saffron, another elf captive and they run for their lives. As they re-enter the world of K'Tora they find everything has changed. Slavery, taxation and brutality are commonplace and the new king of K'tora inspires hatred throughout the land. Ana runs to join the rebellion far in the northern mountains, where she meets the displaced king and his son, an enigma of a man who shakes off a curse, where he has spent years as a panther and a powerful healing elf named Anais. Ana chooses to commit her life to the cause of ridding the kingdom of King Horono and trying to find out what has happened to her family since her capture.
