Imagine. You are a person who throughout your entire life, has settled. You may have found moderate satisfaction in "good enough." Then, without warning, another who thought as you blew your mind and threw everything you ever assumed you wanted in life into question. What if you were presented with a choice between good enough and amazing at the risk of losing everything and everyone who loves you? What would you do? And then having stuck your neck out, the tragedy of tragedies occurs and you are left with the lies, pain, and nothing but an illusion that was never really there. Would it destroy you knowing your selfishness destroyed everyone around you? Would it darken your heart into a cold, lifeless stone? Realizing there was never any magic, you discovered only illusion, hubris and emotional desperation. There was only the intent and interpretation of bad or good choices and their consequences that left you as empty at the end as you were in the beginning, but even the emptiness itself transformed your emotional stability into different shapes and flavors over time in a sublime, yet morose, poetic tragedy describing a fragmenting heart bereft of reason, understanding and control, all of your own doing.
