A Day in the Life of Satan: And Why It Matters to Us

What does a day in the life of Lucifer (Satan) look like? Is it as glamorous as the television series named after him suggests? And what if it is not? Why should I be concerned with the Devil? What does his life and future have to do with how I live my life and my future?

In this book, I will peer into the life of Satan, to get a sense of his nature, present activities, and what the future holds for him, and I will make the case that he is a paradigm of all those who choose to break from the rule of God in favor of self-government. I will demonstrate that Lucifer's present state of meaninglessness, and his future banishment from all that is good and glorious, sets forth the template for a life that chooses to be independent of God.

We will see that Lucifer models before us what it is really like to cut loose the cords from one's Creator in favor of a self-determined life, that is, the life lived on our own terms and conditions. Hopefully, we will conclude that it is not the optimal life, and not one to be chosen by intelligent divine image-bearers. I will also show those who choose the Lord's way how they can detect the wily manipulations of Satan and defeat him with some easy to use but powerful tools.
