A Constitution of Direct Democracy - Pure Democracy and the Governance of the Future Locally and Globally

Society faces major decisions on war and peace, the arms race or disarmament, extremism or cooperation, biotechnology, and our move to space. The public should have a direct say on such issues that determine our shared future. New communication technologies allow such public self-rule. The book describes the ethical justification for Direct Democracy; a model system for self-governance on local and national levels; public Policy Juries and Expert Agencies; and easy transition from the representative system through Direct Democracy Representatives. The book expands on the thesis that communal decisions can distil from diverse human motivations the communal will for sustenance and security that can secure our survival.
