A Challenge to Einstein

What is energy? How is energy propagated through empty space? What is attraction from a distance and how can these forces operate across the vast emptiness of space? These were questions that drove the genius of Albert Einstein to question the scientific theories that were in place in the early twentieth century. Now, almost 100 years later, Einstein's theories have become the cornerstone of quantum mechanics and theoretical physics. Today in the early twenty-first century, is it not time to question the old theories again?
