A Cancerian on Cancer and Other Musings

When colon cancer struck, Zhang found herself facing the toughest battle yet in her life. With the loving support from her family, friends, and colleagues, Zhang triumphantly returned to classroom, doing what she loves best: imparting knowledge to her students at The Savannah College of Art and Design. The pieces collected here reflect Zhang's various writings in the past two decades. They are broad in scopes and diverse in forms: personal, professional, community-based, research-oriented, creative nonfiction, and poetry.
